We received this email from Jeff Nagata two days ago "Wanted to thank you for sharing with me your advice and what to use and how touse it for those Flathead Macs. After visiting you and your shop, I went back out to the lake armed with some round head jigs, jig-es and the ready to go setups and pike minnow fillets. Picked up my first two ever macs, one at 24 inches on the round head and the other at 21 inches on the jig-E and then I had to release a 34 inch one. caught on a double hoook setup with a chunk of filet and a nightcrawler. Fished off the bottom at Deadman's Point. Followed with another trip on Friday and released a 32 inch and 34 inch fish and picked up 7 keepers in less that 2 hours . Nice mackinaw I will use you lures in Oregon." "We'll be back next year. that's for sure" Jeff Nagata This August 31st is starting out cold and over cast but will warm up quickly.
