Fishermen:
Fishing been slow as it is every year at this time.
Shaundra Albert has been seeing some and catching Macks at Wildhorse
The city docks are drawing some success. They are catching perch and lake trout and pike. A little too cold for small mouth.
Swan lake has been giving up Macks
Woods Bay, Yellow Bay, Blue Bay The fishing for Lake trout, Some are coming off their spawning beds Trolling at 250 for the bigger fish
Painted Rocks
North point of Yellow bay for trolling. pretty shallow water.
Wild horse, Finley Point and Gravel Bay all are going to be pretty good fishing both shallow and deeper . Spawning fish in the rocky areas.
Finley and narrows Stay on the west side of Finley point near the narrows . Catching Lake trout.
3 or 4 weeks Lake trout and pike in East Bay if it freezes . not until then .
Still good perch in the weeds from Walstad to the Elmo access. Call us for where the better concentrations are.
Straight in front of Walstad where the house 45 to 55feet is with the white railing. 2-3 00 west of the Walstad access. and west of dead mans point
A Wana B 1/4 or 1/2 or 3/8th are the best both lake trout and perch. Put an inline hook above them. WE have them all ready to go.
